kitchen aid side by side freezer does not freeze and is making a clicking noise?

kitchen aid superba refrigerator does not freeze , a clicking noise is coming from bottom of unit. No water in tray by the fan . what the problem?

1. A clicking sound from the bottom sounds like the compressor is trying to start and what you are hearing is the relay. Chances are the compressor is hooped. Could be a weak start relay but not often. How old is the fridge?
