What makes a milkshake maker different in the way it operates compared to a smoothie maker or an ordinary blender?

1. Milkshake makers tend to "Blend" while the smoothie maker is more of a "Cut-into-tiny-pieces" kinda process. Because milkshake tends to be milk with other softies like chocolate powder and such While smoothies are usually solid fruit based. They work in the same way though.
