what are some safety tips for blenders?

1. Make sure you ops check it first. To do this turn the blender on and then stick your hand into it. This will tell you if the blender is working properly. After you have done this you will realize all the safety questions you have.
2. Make sure its plugged in all the way so that nobody will get shocked by the electricity when plugging/unplugging. If you have a kid, make sure to keep it out of reach or leave unplugged when not using it. However, the kid could figure out how to plug it back in and start it(depending on how old he/she is)so preferably leave it out of reach. Always put the top on when blending things. Enjoy your blender.
3. Don't leave on counters where little children can try to operate.
