- like a blender and yes you have to cut it up and peel it duh it will mess up the blender
- It's just a fancy name for a blender, you still have to peel the fruit and cut it up, someone just can up with name smoothie maker to make some money, boy have people fell for it........
- uh... YEAH you have to peel it
- A smoothie maker is just an expensive blender! lol! And yeah, you need to peel the fruit, and, if its an apple, you really gotta de-core it too.. Just stick whatever you want in the blender and give it a spin!
- A smoothie maker is just a fancy name for a blender... You cannot just stick unpeeled fruit in it... You add low fat yogurt, ice, maybe juice if you like it, sugar, and whatever fruit you prefer..just make sure you prepare the fruit as if you were about to eat it first....I'm pretty sure an orange peel inside a smoothie wont taste too good.
- peel it duh. unless u wanna eat the orange peels
- A smoothie maker is just a blender with a spout. In my experience, a blender works better for smoothies. And you always have to peel the fruit!!!
- yes you do peel it first, i suppose you could grate the orange peel into it, it is supposed to be good for you too.
- the peel will make it oily and bitter. It is your choice: to peel or not to peel, whether 'tis tastier in the mouth....
- It's a type of blender. You have to peel your fruit or add the ready juiced citrus fruit. Buy some reduced individual strawberry yoghurts from your local supermarket. Freeze them. In the morning, run one under hot water until it slides out. Put it in the smoothie maker along with a banana, peeled kiwi and some milk. Blend. Beautiful. Get yourself a book - there are loads on ebay. The beauty of smoothies is that there are 1000's of recipes, just fruit, with juice, with milk, with icecream or yoghurt. We love our smoothie maker, but I made do with a hand held blender stick until we got it.
- Yes, you gotta peel it! If you don't it'll be so bitter you won't be able to drink it. A smoothie maker is just about like a blender, but unlike a blender, usually has a spigot on the front of it for dispensing. Most fruit have seeds inside, so you wouldn't put them in whole, anyway.
- just buy it ready made and listen to yourself why don't you put a tin of tuna in the machine (including the tin) read the instructions
- a smoothie maker does have some differences than a blender It usually has higher wattage than a blender, giving it the power to really pulverize the ice and fruit. The glass mixing chamber also has a narrower shape, which directs the ice and fruit down toward the blades for more efficient mixing. A smoothie maker may also have a spout toward the bottom of the glass mixing chamber to dispense the smoothie mixture. Unlike a regular blender, this feature enables a person to serve the smoothie without having to lift the glass chamber out and pour from the top. A smoothie maker may also come with a "stir stick," a long plastic cylinder that fits into the mixing chamber and helps blend the ingredients. I would peel the orange
- I wonder why you are called Blondie?????
- Just peeled and prepare fruit as if you were making a fruit salad. My favourite -banana, kiwi, yoghurt, honey and milk with a dash of vanilla. (milkshake really I suppose). Grand daughter loves strawberries, milk and ice cream. just experiment and have fun.
- smoothie maker is in my opinion a blender except it has a tap on it. You can get the same results from either. When it comes to fruit.... Its best to cut the orange or other up before putting them in the blender. They just blend better and make smoother smoothie's that way. Oranges should be peel free. Orange peel is bitter and would make the smoothie bitter and feel as if you had bits of rubber bands in it.
- get a blender, they are much better, always peel the fruit, add fruit juice too.
- daaa. no you can't put a whole fruit in it and yes you have to peel the fruits that you usually peel before you eat.
- Oh yes. the oranges get magically peeled.
- A smothie maker is a machine that makes smoothies. You can put whole fruits int but take out the seeds if it has any.And you can put a whole orange in the smoothie maker but peel it before you put it in there.
- Yes, you have to peel, oranges, bananas, melon, etc... basically all those fruits that you won't usually eat in their skins, and obviously also take the pips, stone and stalks of any others.
