so i bought a smoothie maker and...?
my fiance and i have tried a few things, and they have turned out ok...but i know someone out there has the PERFECT smoothie recipie....so lets hear em! what is in your perfect smoothie. we want to use this thing alot (heck, we bought it sunday night and already weve used it three times), so we want a lot of variety....got any good smoothie recipies for me? ooo, those all sound good. the double chocolate chip one sounds really good, hats my favorite thing at starbucks....keep posting folks, im gonna extend this question when it gets near the end of the time its up so i have time to try them all, then ill vote.

- I usually have the following mix each morning in the smoothie maker: 1 cup of dole frozen mixed fruit 1/2 cup of orange juicy 1 banana or 1 cup of pineapple and mango's 1/2 cup of papaya juice Ice
- This isn't really a smoothie but another user recommended it and it's really good. It tastes exactly like the Double Chocolate Chip Frappinchino from Starbucks half glass of nonfat milk. 3 spoon fulls of Chocolate syrup and 3 spoon fulls of chocolate chips (semi-sweet) . And don't forget to had a little vanilla and ice and then blend.
- FRUIT SMOOTHIE 2 lg. ripe bananas, frozen 2 c. pineapple chunks 2 c. strawberries (fresh or frozen) 2 (8 oz.) carton strawberry yogurt Slice frozen bananas into blender. Add remaining ingredients. Whirl until pureed. Serves 4. To freeze ripe bananas, peel and wrap tightly in foil or plastic, and place in freezer overnight or up to a month. Whirled in a blender, they take on the texture of soft ice cream. KAHLUA SMOOTHIE 1 pt. vanilla ice cream 1/3 c. creme de cacao 1/3 c. kahlua Combine ingredients in blender and process until smooth. Serve after dinner. SMOOTHIE Ice cubes Milk 1 nectarine 1/2 cantaloupe 1 banana 1 tsp. vanilla 4 tsp. strawberry preserves In blender fill 1/2 with ice cubes. Add milk to cover; blend. Cube 1 nectarine, 1/2 cantaloupe, and 1 banana. Add to blended milk except for 1/2 cup. Blend until smooth. Add vanilla and strawberry preserves. Blend until smooth. Add rest of fruit. Mix and pour into frosted mugs from freezer.
- 7 large strawberries 1 (8 ounce) container lemon yogurt 1/3 cup orange juice DIRECTIONS Place strawberries in a plastic container and freeze for about an hour. In a blender, combine frozen strawberries, yogurt and orange juice. Blend until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and serve.
- All-Around Good Smoothie INGREDIENTS * 1/2 cup nonfat milk * 1/2 cup fat-free plain yogurt * 1/2 frozen banana, peeled and chopped * 2 tablespoons powdered protein supplement * 1 1/2 tablespoons flax seed * 1 teaspoon honey * 1/2 cup frozen strawberries DIRECTIONS 1. In a blender, blend the milk, yogurt, banana, protein supplement, flax seed, honey, and strawberries until smooth.
