How Do Prismacolor colorless blenders work?

I am purchasing the prismacolor premier 120 color pencils, and wondered wether to get the colorless blenders too, but im not sure how they work. and if any1 has any pictures 2.

2. I'm sorry that I don't have any pictures but I can personally vouch for the blenders. When I first started using colored pencils I used a lot of blending sticks and tissues and anything other dry media I could find. Then an art instructor of mine told me about the PrismaColor blenders. Wow is all I can say. Not only do they work well on the Prisma Color pencils but they also work phenomenally well on the markers too! I started using them about 9 years ago and since then have spent a small fortune on Prisma Color supplies.
