BLENDErs??? Last night it was a dark and foggy night. I was getiing ready to go home from my Auntie George's i was getting in her car. I missed the door way and hit my knee on the car. It is now swollen and as big as a grapefruit. Now i can't even take my daily shower. You see, i'm about 346 lbs and have descending rolls that touch the floor. I am very proud of them and like to fiddle with them in a dark room all by myself. Anyway..... my mom has been complaing about her mahogony blender that she got at the dolllar store. It works like a piece of crap. In fact it is so bad she put my grandma Jorge's arm in the blender because my grams is highly religious. Unfortunatly the results were a couple of scratches. My mom cant stop venting her anger out on me. O please helpp me i dont know what to do.

I work at a smoothie cafe and our blenders keep shorting out? I am a manager. At one location, the blenders are always going in for repairs because they are shorting out. The electronics stop working in them. At the other location, the blenders cannot be destroyed for the life of them. They are two different models from the same company. Now, we carried one from the other location to use at the one location where the blenders are always shorting out. That one formerly reliable model shorted out in an hour. All the managers now think it might be an electrical problem. Any ideas on a solution for these problems?

How many calories are in TGI Friday's Mudslide Blenders mix? I loveeeeeeeeee Mudslides. Applebee's, Famous Dave's, I don't care.. they're all delicious. lol Only problem is how extremely high in calories and fat they are. What do you think of the magic bullet, or food processors, blenders, etc.? I have always wanted to buy a magic bullet, but I have read such mixed reviews on it. What do you know about blenders? Daughter on a health kick. Went to a Home Show and saw a blender demonstration - the Vita Mix 5200. Blended apples and seeds, strawberries with leaves, and zested oranges to a fine, delicious mix. They wanted $449 - wow! THe VM5200 has a 2 horsepower (15 amp) motor. Will a decent 3.0 amp mixer do the same for $300 less?

Is there a name for power blenders? Like there are normal blenders and then the ones like Blendtec that can pulverise a wooden rake handle. Apart from using the term "power blender" is there another name to differentiate them from normal blenders that can make milkshakes but can't pulverize ice etc.
